What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a tracked link from a retailer that pays a small commission when someone clicks the link and completes a purchase. The price you pay is the same as if you'd reached the retailer's site directly. The commission supports the cost of running Shoppable Spaces — the AI infrastructure, the catalog maintenance, and the team that keeps it all running.
Where affiliate links appear
Affiliate links appear on the shoppable products inside any concept you generate, on sample rooms used to demonstrate the product, and inside the shopping list panel. Whenever an affiliate link is present, we'll either disclose near the link itself or surface this disclosure within easy reach.
How we choose products
The AI in Shoppable Spaces chooses products from a curated catalog we maintain. Membership in an affiliate program is not a condition for a product to appear in a design — we add and rank products based on visual fit, room type, style tags, dimensions, and price. Where we have an affiliate relationship with the retailer, we use the affiliate link. Where we don't, we send you to the canonical retailer page.
We do not inflate prices, hide retailers, or substitute one brand for another to favor a higher-commissioning advertiser. The retailer and price you see on the product card is the destination.
Pricing and availability
Prices and stock are pulled from the retailer's product page and re-checked on a regular cadence. Even with frequent checks, prices and availability change quickly — the live retailer page is the source of truth at the moment of purchase. Always confirm the price on the retailer's checkout before completing an order.
Amazon
Shoppable Spaces may participate in the Amazon Associates Program in the future. If and when Amazon products are surfaced through that program, this section will read:
Until that program is approved and live, no product cards on Shoppable Spaces should be assumed to participate in Amazon Associates. We do not download or cache Amazon product images outside the terms of the Associates Program.
How we track
When a product page is opened from Shoppable Spaces, the retailer or affiliate network may set tracking cookies on your browser to attribute a future purchase. We use campaign-level identifiers — for example, the room type, the style, or the placement — so we can understand which kinds of recommendations are useful. We do not pass your name, email, phone number, or any other personal identifier through affiliate links.
Your choices
- You can browse Shoppable Spaces without ever clicking a shopping link.
- You can visit any retailer directly using the canonical URL shown on the product card.
- You can block third-party cookies in your browser to prevent affiliate tracking.
FTC compliance
The U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires clear and conspicuous disclosure of paid endorsements and affiliate relationships. We try to follow that guidance to the letter: this page exists, the product-panel and footer disclosures use plain language, and the disclosure is placed close to the relevant link rather than buried in legal copy.
The FTC's guidance for endorsers is published at ftc.gov.
